Welcome to the self guided audio tour for Lucid Dream Minigolf: In Search of Lost Time!

Lucid Dream Minigolf is an existential, narrative-driven, heartfelt, traveling minigolf course and interactive theater piece. Adult focused and mostly kid friendly.

You as a player go on a quest by playing holes that represent your own autobiographical past (The Pyramid of What Was), present (The Abyss of What Is), and future (The Winds of What May Be).

Scroll and click through the story step-by-step as you progress.

Equipment Prerequisite: Before you begin, each player should equip themselves with a club, a ball, and a pencil. Each group will share a course map.

Mutant Swamp Monster

A deformed alligator-like creature feeling behind, delayed, and not where they thought they would be at this point in their swampy monster life. Driven by the fear of never having enough time, the Mutant Swamp Monster has captured Time the Gnome of Infinity. Without Time, the land of Lucid Dream Minigolf will grow stagnant and lifeless.

Flushed down a toilet by a high-strung neglectful owner in Manhattan, the swamp monster lived in sewers of the city, going above ground at night to scavenge through trash in its youth. In search of refuge, the swamp monster made its way upriver: by day sleeping in the swamplands along the Hudson, by night creeping into villages to raid trash cans and chicken coops--often the cause of mischief that is misattributed to raccoons, opossums, and foxes. Due to its exposure to the Hudson river’s toxic chemicals, the Mutant Swamp Monster emits a telltale smell and bioluminescent glow at night. Beware if you sense a swampy toxic scent or see a green luminescence at night growing brighter, for the swamp monster draws near.

Time the Gnome of Infinity

a single gnome, but three co-eternal consubstantial gnomes. The three gnomes are distinct, yet make up one substance, essence, or nature. They are the eternal keepers of time’s impermanence. Contemplative and bittersweet, they are filled with a deep appreciation for life and its passing. Time is both dazzlingly powerful and moving precisely because it simultaneously never lasts and is everlasting. An infinite and continuous stream of fleeting moments. Time the Gnome of Infinity contains all the warm beauty and gentle wistfulness of how a late-summer sunset feels on your face with your eyes closed as the very last ray of sun kisses you goodbye over the horizon.
